Muir 40, Glendale 28--Carlos Gutierrez passed for 284 yards and four touchdowns, including three to wide receiver Angelo Walker, but the Dynamiters had no answer for Muir's running game at Glendale.

James Samuel rushed for 251 yards and four touchdowns for Muir (3-5, 2-1), which totaled 229 yards on the ground. Samuel's touchdowns covered 74, 80, five and 64 yards.

The Mustangs took a 40-14 lead after three quarters, but Glendale (3-5, 0-3) rallied with two touchdowns within 27 seconds to cut the deficit to 40-28 with 4:23 to play.

Gutierrez passed to Walker for a 37-yard touchdown with 4:50 to play, and the Dynamiters got the ball back by recovering an onside kick, leading to a 45-yard scoring pass from Gutierrez to Rami Burpee.

Gutierrez completed 17 of 27 passes, with one interception. Walker caught 13 passes for 138 yards, and Burpee had two receptions for 114 yards.

Glendale outgained the Mustangs in total yards, 356-341.
