Annual Fall Carnival Set to Open Thursday

The city's sixth annual Fall Carnival opens Thursday and continues through the holiday weekend at the Marblehead site off Avenida Pico.

Sponsored by the City Recreation Division and the San Clemente Lions Club, the carnival will feature 20 rides plus game and food booths.

Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Thursday, 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and Sunday, and noon to 11 p.m. Monday. Information: (949) 361-8264.
