Hewlett-Packard Co. said one of its top sales executives, Dick Watts, left to become chief executive of a small start-up, ConvergeNet, that makes computer storage products. Watts, a 30-year veteran of the computer company, couldn't be reached for comment. HP recently asked its managers to take a temporary pay reduction as part of a cost-cutting move.
