The robber walked into Glendale Federal Bank in the 25300 block of Marguerite Parkway at 3:30 p.m. and pointed a small semiautomatic handgun at the teller, according to sheriff's Lt. Stan Jacquot.

She began to hand him some money, but he stopped her and said he only wanted $50 and $100 bills. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
