Campbell Hall 27, La Verne Lutheran 0--Sean Porter ran for 158 yards and two touchdowns in 10 carries to lead the Vikngs (1-0) to their first-ever 11-man victory.

Campbell Hall, which had previously competed at the eight-man level, had little trouble with the Trojans and scored on their first two possessions.

Quarterback Aaron Kerr finished a seven-play, 80-yard game-opening drive with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Tanner Ragland.

After Campbell Hall recovered a fumble, Porter scored on a 33-yard run to give the Vikings a 13-0 lead with 6:15 left in the first quarter.

La Verne Lutheran had 16 rushing plays that resulted in negative yardage and fumbled five times, losing two.

Kerr completed seven of 12 passes for 123 yards and Campbell Hall outgained La Verne Lutheran, 375-114.
