If you're intimidated by wine lists because you don't know anything about France or French wines, then Thursday's tasting at the Wine Exchange might arm you with enough information to let you be a little daring the next time it's your turn to choose the wine. A one-evening "tour" of the major wine regions, along with some of the minor ones, will be conducted. Compare the regions, eat cheese and ask questions.
