Police are looking for two men in the shooting and wounding of a La Habra woman during a Pasadena robbery.

Andre Duane Thomas, 31, of Sylmar and Desmond Lee McKenzie, 31, of Pasadena are wanted in the 2:15 a.m. attack Saturday that left Mary Banuelos with a gunshot wound in the eye, Pasadena Police Sgt. Thomas Pederson said.

Banuelos was sitting in her boyfriend's car when one of the two robbers, apparently dissatisfied with the amount of money her boyfriend gave them, pulled the trigger, Pederson said.

Banuelos remains in critical condition at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.

Both suspects have prior convictions that include violent felonies, Pederson said.

McKenzie is described as African American with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. Thomas also is African American, with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4525.
