Yom Kippur Observances Planned

Adat HaMashiach Messianic congregation will host Yom Kippur services at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hyatt Regency Alicante hotel. An additional service will take place at noon Wednesday. There is no fee. The Hyatt is at 100 Plaza Alicante, Garden Grove. (714) 252-0474.

A "Re-membering" meeting for inactive Catholics and those interested in learning more about the faith will start at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish Center. The Pacific Community of Secular Humanistic Jews will observe Yom Kippur at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Orange Coast Unitarian Universalist Church. The program will emphasize human dignity and responsibility. There will be a Kol Nidre, a secular memorial service and four adult workshops. Jewish Family Service of Orange County announces the availability of humanitarian grants for Holocaust survivors from the Swiss Fund for Needy Victims of the Holocaust/Shoah. St. Cecilia Catholic Church invites inactive Catholics to its program "Another Look at the Catholic Faith."
