The city crowned 17-year-old Crystal Sheppard as Miss La Habra and Corn Festival Queen on Sunday. Cherilyn Locano, 17, was chosen as first runner-up; Jennifer Lostaunu, 17, was chosen as second runner-up; and Sarah Fitzgerald, 18, was chosen as third runner-up. All four are seniors at Sonora High School. Sheppard received a prize of $500; the other three received $250.
