In an effort to raise money for the Moorpark College Child Development Center, the college will host Discovery Day on Saturday.
Gene West, from the Sunshine Band, will make an appearance from 10 to 11 a.m. From 12:30 to 2 p.m., visitors can visit America's Teaching Zoo.
