El Camino Real 14, Taft 0--Ashley Redlin (7-2) had two hits and four runs batted in and threw a one-hitter for the Conquistadores (12-2, 5-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at El Camino Real.

Notre Dame 4-6, Alemany 2-4--Patricia Wetzel had five hits and Veronica Arredondo had four hits and four RBIs for the Knights (10-4, 1-1), who won a Mission League game and a Simi Valley tournament fourth-place semifinal from the Indians (7-8, 1-1).


Chatsworth 4, Kennedy 1--Ryan Robbins (5-0) pitched a six-hitter, struck out two, walked two and gave up no earned runs for Chatsworth (14-2, 7-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Kennedy.

Matt Fisher hit a two-run home run in the fifth to give the Chancellors a 3-0 lead and Jason Spector added a home run in the sixth to make it 4-0.

Van Nuys 7, Sylmar 1--Junior Ayala (2-1) threw a three-hitter, struck out seven and walked one to help the Wolves (4-9, 2-6) upset the Spartans (12-4, 6-1) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Van Nuys.

Abel Pulido had two hits and two RBIs, and Jason Chun had two hits and one RBI for Van Nuys.


Agoura 12, Newbury Park 6--Dustin Erb won his three singles matches by 6-1 scores for Agoura (7-4, 5-2) in a Marmonte League match at Newbury Park.

El Camino Real 4, Granada Hills 3--James Magsino, Matt Jones and Dan Nguyen won singles matches for the Conquistadores (9-2, 7-1) in a Northwest Valley Conference victory at Granada Hills (10-1, 7-1).
