Harvard-Westlake 2, Alemany 0--Freshman Elena Ferrero (6-4) pitched a no-hitter, striking out seven and facing two batters over the minimum for the Wolverines (8-9, 3-1) in a Mission League victory at Valley College.

Ferrero tripled in the go-ahead run in the sixth and scored on a single by Lisa Feigenbaum.

San Fernando 15, Cleveland 4--Freshman Gabriela Barragan allowed two earned runs on 10 hits in her first varsity appearance for the Tigers (13-4, 4-2) in a North Valley League game at Cleveland (6-4, 3-4) that was called after six innings because of the 10-run rule.

Barragan, who struck out eight, had a bases-loaded triple among three hits.

Kennedy 16, Granada Hills 0--Marlena Aguirre hit a two-run home run and had four RBIs for the Golden Cougars (14-2, 6-1) in a North Valley League game at Granada Hills (4-15, 2-5) that was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

Notre Dame 12, Flintridge Sacred Heart 3--Karen Tobin had four hits and Patricia Wetzel and Cheryl Acosta each added two hits and three RBIs for the Knights (11-4, 2-1) in a Mission League victory at Flintridge Sacred Heart (8-7, 0-4).

Cornerstone Christian 11, Villanova Prep 0--Sophomore Julie Hartnell (10-4) pitched her second consecutive no-hitter and Tiffany Monzo was four for four with three RBIs for the Eagles (11-4, 4-0) in a Condor League victory at home.
