Connors' Three-Run Blast Sparks Sub-.500 JetHawks

Greg Connors' three-run home run capped a four-run first inning and the Lancaster JetHawks (8-9) went on to defeat the Stockton Ports, 10-7, on Saturday night at the Hangar.

Double A--Javier Delahoya (Grant) is 3-0 for Bowie (Orioles) after giving up five hits and one run and striking out five in 6 2/3 innings in a 5-1 victory over Altoona. . . . Designated hitter Eric Gillespie (Cal State Northridge) had two hits, including his third home run, for Jacksonville (Tigers) in a 7-5 loss to Carolina. . . . Catcher Casey Snow (Crespi) had a home run, a triple and a single for San Antonio (Dodgers) in a 6-2 victory over Wichita.

Class A--Left fielder Mike Glendenning (Crespi, Pierce) hit two solo home runs, giving him five, for San Jose (Giants) in a 6-2 victory over Rancho Cucamonga. Erasmo Ramirez (Cal State Northridge) struck out three and allowed no hits in 3 1/3 innings to pick up his third save.
