** 1/2 Bree Sharp, "A Cheap and Evil Girl," Trauma. Veering between wistful and brazen, this young singer-songwriter swirls wit and imagination into her bright folk-rock and folk-pop, crafting an often fetching, if sometimes trite, debut. The primary subject is love--from lost ("Walk Away") to found ("Show Me") to unrequited (the catchy "David Duchovny," an obsessive ode to the "X-Files" star)--and the main attraction is her sweet yet steely singing.
