The City Council last Tuesday approved a $50,000 loan for Ansdell Piano to transform the former China Gate restaurant into a piano sales store should the company run out of funds for the project. Members also gave their formal endorsement to the project. The owners of Ansdell Piano are renovating the former restaurant in order to move their piano business to a more prominent location on Beach Boulevard.
