The city is accepting submissions for the official Fourth of July parade logo contest. The winner will receive $500 in cash. The logo must include the theme for next year's event, "Parade 2000, Celebrating the Century," and must be made on an 8 1/2-by-11-inch sheet of paper. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 21.
