THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG
The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:
BREA
* West Lambert Road: A petty theft was reported in the 100 block at 11:08 p.m. Saturday.
* Birch Street at Poplar Avenue: Marijuana possession was reported at 1:56 a.m. Thursday.
* South Orange Avenue: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 400 block at 3:57 p.m. Thursday.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
* Brookhurst Street: Items valued at $240 were stolen from a car parked at Fountain Bowl in the 17100 block; reported at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday.
* Newhope Street: A man’s wallet was stolen from clothing left unattended in a changing room at Los Caballeros Health Club in the 17200 block; reported at 10:16 p.m. Wednesday.
FULLERTON
* East Imperial Highway: A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 2800 block at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
* West Jacaranda Place: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 300 block at 11:49 p.m. Saturday.
* West Jacaranda Place: Police responded to a report of shots heard in the 1200 block at 5:03 a.m. Saturday.
GARDEN GROVE
* Euclid Street: Two homes were destroyed by fire in the 12000 block Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
* Chaparral Drive: A burglary was reported in the 12800 block Friday at 12:54 a.m. Two juveniles were arrested at the scene.
LAGUNA HILLS
* McIntyre Street: A business in the 25200 block was found with a window smashed and the rear door open when employees arrived at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. There is no known loss. The incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
MISSION VIEJO
* Felipe Road at Marguerite Parkway: A man was arrested for outstanding warrants and booked into Orange County Jail. Deputies contacted him at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.
* Oso Parkway at Felipe Road: A man drove into a light pole and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving; reported at 11:56 p.m. Wednesday. The driver was booked into Orange County Jail.
* Santa Margarita Parkway: Sports trading cards worth $3,000 and $140 in cash were stolen from a business in the 28000 block. The rear door of the business was broken into and the business was ransacked. The commercial burglary was reported at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.
PLACENTIA
* Backs Lane: A petty theft was reported at 9:38 a.m. Friday.
* Melrose Avenue: Graffiti was reported in the 900 block at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
* Saint John Way at Placentia Avenue: A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported at 10:32 p.m. Thursday.
SANTA ANA
* West 17th Street: A commercial burglary in the 1900 block was reported at 8 a.m. Thursday.
* South Bear Street: A petty theft was reported in the 3600 block at 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
YORBA LINDA
* Via Bernardo: A missing person was reported in the 5700 block at 10:57 p.m. Saturday.
* Walnut Street: A missing person was reported in the 1700 block at 2:08 a.m. Saturday.
* Los Monteros: A burglary was reported in the 5400 block at 2:10 p.m. Friday.
* Salerno Way: A grand theft was reported in the 25000 block at 8:48 p.m. Friday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
