SYLMAR — In the fourth such incident in the San Fernando Valley in two weeks, a single-engine plane made an emergency landing on a city street Thursday after developing electrical problems just after takeoff, authorities said.
No injuries or damage were reported when the Cessna 152, which was headed to Bakersfield from Burbank Airport, set down at 11:18 a.m. on Foothill Boulevard at De Garmo Avenue about two miles northeast of Whiteman Airport, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis.
