Lake Elsinore Completes a Sweep

May 06, 1999

Lake Elsinore opened the game with five consecutive runs and scored its final run on a wild pitch to defeat Lancaster, 7-6, at the Hangar on Wednesday night and sweep a three-game series.

Greg Connors of the JetHawks (10-17) tied the score, 5-5, with a home run in the fifth, but a two-out wild pitch on a strikeout in the seventh gave the Storm the winning margin.
