Chaminade def. Alemany, 15-3, 15-12, 10-15, 15-13--Brain Bardos led host Chaminade with 19 kills in a Mission League game.

Chaminade (8-9, 5-7) trailed in the second game, 8-1, but J.J. Todd had eight of his 18 blocks to rally the Eagles. Setter Paul Jocas had 23 digs and 47 assists for Chaminade.

Viewpoint def. Windward, 15-10, 15-4, 15-8--Middle blocker Dan Roy had 14 kills for host Viewpoint (18-5, 8-2), which clinched a tie for first place in the Liberty League.

Sophomore Ken Roy, Dan's younger brother, had eight kills and four blocks.

Windward (8-2 in league play) tied for first place, but Viewpoint defeated the Wildcats twice, claiming the tiebreaker.

San Marcos def. Ventura, 15-4, 15-2, 15-8--Jared Godinez had six kills and Dustin Cook added four for host Ventura (1-14, 0-12) against first-place San Marcos in a Channel League match.

Saugus def. Valencia, 15-8, 13-15, 15-13, 13-15, 15-8--Jason Moore had four of his nine kills in the fifth game to help lift the Centurions (2-12, 2-7) in a Foothill League match at Saugus.
