In the Century League:

Canyon 3, El Modena 0--Lindsey Klabacha (10-6) pitched a one-hitter and Meghan Goldstein provided a two-run single for Canyon (16-12-1, 5-4). El Modena is 15-11, 5-4.

No. 1 Foothill 7, Santa Ana Valley 0--Jaime Clark tripled and had three RBIs for Foothill (26-3, 9-0). Elizabeth Bendig gave up only one hit, a leadoff single.

In the Empire League:

No. 10 El Dorado 13, Katella 0 (5, mercy)--Jill Jessen pitched a one-hitter and struck out 10 for El Dorado (20-3, 8-1). Catlin Haworth-Yasger added a three-run homer.

In the Freeway league:

Buena Park 3, La Habra 2--Stefani Beltran (10-7) scattered seven hits, and Lolani Alvarez homered as the Coyotes (9-8, 3-6) upset La Habra's title hopes. The Highlanders (13-13, 6-3) dropped a game behind Sonora, which defeated Sunny Hills, 3-0, in nine innings.

In the Garden Grove League:

Garden Grove 1, No. 3 Pacifica 0 (9)--Freshman Katie Petrick singled in pinch runner Ali Davis with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Davis ran for winning pitcher Nuvia Marti (5-0), who had singled. Garden Grove (17-10-1, 9-2), extended its winning streak to 11. The Mariners are 18-8, 10-1.

In the Olympic League:

Orange Lutheran 11, Whittier Christian 0 (6)--With second-place Calvary Chapel's 3-1 loss to Ontario Christian, Orange Lutheran (22-5, 10-1) won the title behind Jessica Edwards' one-hitter.

In the Orange League:

Brea Olinda 13, Savanna 0 (5 mercy)--Tiffany Whitton pitched a perfect game and Erin Hessman (grand slam) had five RBIs as Brea Olinda (17-7-1, 9-0) won the title.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Hills at Aliso Niguel, ppd.--Due to unavailability of umpires, the game to determine the league title will be played at 3:15 Friday.

In the Sea View League:

Santa Margarita 1, Irvine 0--Brittany Mynsberge walked, stole second, took third on a pass ball, and scored on Kim Hopkin's two-out single as Santa Margarita (14-10, 4-3) clinched a playoff berth.

In the South Coast League:

No. 8 Dana Hills 2, No. 2 Mater Dei 0--Kiana Bessa and Liz Lefler tripled in the top of the seventh inning, and Brittany Anzlovar singled home Lefler as Dana Hills (21-4-2, 7-2-1) pulled within a half-game of Mater Dei (23-4, 8-1). Loren Thornburg (14-3) pitched a six-hitter, outdueling Marissa Young, who struck out 12.

In the Sunset League:

No. 5 Fountain Valley 1, Edison 0--Rocky Staniorski doubled home Christina Skaggs in the seventh inning for visiting Fountain Valley (20-7, 8-1). Natalie King (8-4) struck out 12, retired 20 consecutive batters, and gave up one hit for the Barons. Edison is 11-16, 4-5.

Los Alamitos 7, Huntington Beach 5--Darcy Brown (three hits) had a two-run double in the sixth for host Los Alamitos (13-12, 5-4).
