The City Council will hold a special hearing Nov. 23 on the La Bonita Park redevelopment. Residents appealed the Planning Commission's Oct. 25 approval of building four lighted softball diamonds, a skate park and garden--a $2-million project--at the 23-acre site. The council will decide whether to go ahead with the plan after the public hearing. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in City Hall, 201 E. La Habra Blvd. Information: (562) 905-9700.
