Cathedral 59, Calabasas 30--Robert De La Cruz threw for seven touchdowns and rushed for an eighth score for the Phantoms (11-0) at St. Mathias-Pius X High in Downey.

De La Cruz completed 21 of 32 passes for 429 yards with no interceptions as Cathedral scored 29 consecutive points to start the second half, building a 52-17 lead.

Cathedral's Earvin Johnson had five catches for 167 yards, including touchdown receptions of 36, 66 and 50 yards. The Phantoms' Fernando Castro caught six passes for 125 yards, including scoring receptions of nine, 12 and 33 yards.

The Coyotes' Justin Fenchel completed 22 of 39 passes for 287 yards, and passed for a pair of touchdowns. Matt Bernstein caught eight passes for 104 yards, including a 29-yard touchdown pass from Fenchel in the fourth quarter. Bernstein also booted a 50-yard field goal in the first quarter.

Michael Armacost of Calabasas (3-8) scored on runs of one and three yards and finished with 78 yards in 17 carries.
