Camarillo 17, Oxnard 14--The Yellowjackets' Saul Aguilar missed a 30-yard field goal with 42 seconds to play, preserving the victory at Oxnard.

Camarillo's Mark Cardella's game-winning 30-yard field goal came in the fourth quarter after Oxnard (1-6, 0-1) turned over the ball on their 15.

James McCowan led the Yellowjackets with 121 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns. McCowan tied the score, 14-14, going untouched on a 52-yard punt return in the third quarter.

Senior Loren Cerny rushed for 111 yards and one touchdown in 21 carries to lead the Scorpions (2-4-1, 2-0).
