Council members could take their first step toward building their own City Hall tonight when they consider buying a parcel across from the proposed Intergenerational Community Center.

The land is in the Town Center development, at the corner of El Paseo and El Portal.

City staffers have reached an agreement with K&G Equities to buy the parcel, slightly less than two acres, for $1.1 million pending council approval.
