TEHACHAPI--A parade at 10 a.m. Aug. 19 kicks off the 37th annual Mountain Festival, Aug. 19-20. Peruse a fine art show, arts and crafts and food booths in City Park, then view a rodeo at 4 p.m. both days at the Rodeo Grounds on Dennison Road ($6-$10). Festival hours 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days.
