Bank Opens Financial Services Office in Ventura

Montecito Bank & Trust has opened an expanded financial services office in Ventura.

The new office at 5700 Ralston St. houses the bank's small-business lending department, mortgage lending and commercial loan group. It replaces a smaller Ventura office.

Rodney K. Brown, bank president and chief executive, said the move was necessary because of the bank's strong growth in Small Business Administration loans in 1999.
