The city recently agreed to spend $99,000 to design and build a radio tower at Moorhead Reservoir that will transmit a countywide public safety radio band.

The $80-million, 800-megahertz communication system will link the Orange County Sheriff's Department, local police and the public works, lifeguard and fire departments.
