Man Found Stabbed to Death in Alley

VAN NUYS — Authorities responding to a reported stabbing found a man dead in an alley here Sunday, police said.

The body of the unidentified man was discovered at 6:50 p.m. in the 7000 block of Woodley Avenue, said Sgt. Larry Maillet of the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys Division.

Maillet said the man, whose body bore stab wounds, appeared to be 25 to 35 years old. No other details were available.
