Baseball All-Star Game Is Rich in Pitching Talent

All three Orange County high school baseball players selected Monday, the first day of the major league free-agent draft, are expected to pitch in tonight's North-South all-star game at 7 p.m. at Cal State Fullerton.

Katella's Jonathan Lorenzen, taken by the Dodgers in the 14th round (417th overall), and Brea Olinda's Mike Davern (Atlanta, 18th round, 550th) are on the North roster. Mission Viejo's John Hudgins (Oakland, 20th round, 600th) will start for the South.

Tickets are $5, parking $1.25.
