Bridgford Foods Income Dips 8% From '99

Bridgford Foods Corp., Anaheim producer of convenience food products, reported second quarter net income of $2.4 million, or 22 cents a share, down 8% from the $2.6 million, or 23 cents a share, a year ago. The company said higher pork costs affected results. Sales for the quarter ended April 28 rose 11% to $36.8 million.
