The City Council will consider whether a lighted neon sign at Street of the Green Lantern and Pacific Coast Highway should be allowed to exceed the city's height limit of 4 feet.

The sign's owner, the Chart House restaurant, is appealing the Planning Commission's denial.

The City Council is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 33282 Street of the Golden Lantern.
