CS Fullerton 5, Pepperdine 4--The Waves couldn't hold a 4-3 ninth-inning lead in a nonconference game at Pepperdine.

The Titans (6-5) scored twice in the ninth on three hits and a walk off reliever Matt Wersel (3-1).

Woody Cliffords had two hits and Simon Ferrer had a double and an RBI for the Waves (7-8), who led, 4-1, after seven innings.

Pierce 12, Moorpark 5--Kona Sampaio had four hits and drove in four runs, and Traviss Hodge hit a three-run home run for the Brahmas in a Western State Conference interdivisional victory at Pierce.

Glendale 17, Ventura 4--The Vaqueros pounded seven Pirate pitchers for 21 hits, including eight for extra bases, in a WSC interdivisional game at Ventura.

Mike Roux had four hits, including three doubles, drove in two runs and scored four, Andy Karp had four hits and two RBIs, and Andy Lopez had three hits and four RBIs for Glendale (6-6-1).

Steven Gunter had three hits, including his second home run, for the Pirates (7-3).

Oxnard 4, Valley 1--Ernie Borjas pitched a five-hitter, Josh Lake had two hits and the Condors (8-3, 1-0) won a WSC interdivisional game at Oxnard.

Nick Lombard had two hits for Valley (4-4, 0-1).

San Diego 19, Cal Lutheran 3--Seven pitchers surrendered 19 hits in a nonconference loss at San Diego (13-7-1).

Tony Perez and Ryan Leuthard each had two hits and drove in three runs for the Toreros.

Ryan Yoshiwara had two hits for Cal Lutheran (9-3).
