Organizers of the effort to assist those living at the Lincoln Inn and Covered Wagon motels in West Anaheim say they would welcome help from private and nonprofit agencies. Long-term guests at the two motels are being forced to move because of a city edict mandating that occupants stay no more than 30 days within a 90-day period.

Most say they live at the motels because they have no other options and cannot afford to move into apartments. A collaboration of public, private and nonprofit groups are working on assessing the occupants' needs. Information: (714) 834-3355.
