Six athletes from Cal State Northridge, including four recently crowned Big Sky Conference champions, compete in the USA Track & Field Indoor championships at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta today and Saturday.

Clinte Motley competes in the triple jump and Billy Bush in the shotput and 35-pound weight throw for the men.

Brandi Prieto is entered in the women's triple jump with Annetta Wells in the 400 meters, senior Nancy James in the 800 and mile, and sophomore Krystal Harris in the 200.

Motley won his third consecutive triple jump title in the Big Sky Conference indoor championships at Northern Arizona last week and Bush placed first in the shotput.

Prieto won an unprecedented fourth consecutive women's triple jump title and Wells placed first in the 200 and 400.

James won the 800 and mile in the Big Sky indoor championships last year, but dropped out of the mile after suffering a muscle cramp early in the race. The injury kept her out of the 800 as well.
