Connerly to Speak at Reagan Library

Ward Connerly, who led a successful effort to end race-based admissions at the University of California, will speak at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on March 23.

Connerly is a member of the UC Board of Regents and the chairman of the American Civil Rights Institute, a national organization aimed at educating the public about problems created by racial and gender preferences.

Connerly recently published an autobiography, "Creating Equal: My Fight Against Race Preferences."

The 7 p.m. lecture is part of the Reagan Forum series sponsored by the Reagan Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds the library and museum.
