City officials plan to team up with the Orange County Sanitation District to complete a $1-million upgrade of the city's sewer lines.

Under the sanitation district's Cooperative Project program, which offers matching funds to cities that reduce storm water infiltration and flow, the city is eligible to receive as much as $573,000 to repair and renovate its system.

City officials said they have identified a number of lines in need of repair or replacement.
