Star Tours

March 23, 2000

Orion the Hunter sits halfway up the southwestern sky as it grows dark. The three stars in a row that mark his belt form a distinctive pattern. At left is Canis Major, the Large Dog, which contains the brilliant Dog Star Sirius. At right is Taurus the Bull with the red star Aldebaran shining as his eye.
