March 24, 2000|Rebecca Harris, (949) 574-4205

Two Dana Hills High School teachers have earned recognition for the long hours they spend grading papers, planning lessons and maintaining order.

Tiffany Wallace and Pilar Lopez will be included in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers 2000," which will be published in October.

Wallace, 27, teaches two levels of algebra. She also coaches varsity girls swimming and water polo.

Lopez, 59, a native of Avila, Spain, teaches Spanish.

Only 5% of teachers nationwide are honored in the "Who's Who" series, which is updated every two years.

Nominations are gathered from high school and college students who have been listed in "Who's Who Among American High School Students" or "The National Dean's List."
