A historical perspective on prime real estate owned by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power will be given by the Seal Beach Historical and Cultural Society at the Mary Wilson Library Senior Center at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The department is selling the vacant 10-acre property at the northwest end of the city next to the San Gabriel River channel that was the site of a power station. Councilman Paul Yost will give a presentation which includes photos and records from the past 70 years.
