Four sports celebrities have agreed to take part in a charity golf tournament at Pacific Golf and Country Club on June 19.

NFL Hall of Fame tight end John Mackey, U.S. Olympic high hurdler and gold medalist Willie Davenport, and former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Jim Gott and catcher Steve Yeager will participate in the tournament, hosted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Home of the West.

Registration is at 10 a.m., a barbecue lunch is at 10:30 a.m. and an awards banquet is at 6:30 p.m.

Good Shepherd aids developmentally disabled people, including 100 in group homes and apartments in Orange County.

Cost for entry is $250 per person, which includes the lunch, golf and banquet. Information: (714) 593-7991.
