No one should question the toughness of Hart quarterback Kyle Matter, who has been sacked a school-record 42 times this season.

"I'm sure that's a record nobody wants to break," Matter said.

Westlake Village Oaks Christian suffered its first defeat last week, losing to Santa Clarita Christian, 20-6.

Santa Clarita usually plays at the eight-man level but used its experience and size to dominate the Lions, who are a first-year program.

The Notre Dame-Chaminade game was briefly halted last week when Notre Dame's coaches informed the officials they could hear Chaminade Coach Bill Culpepper calling his plays on their wireless headphones.

Both schools stopped using the headsets until Notre Dame brought out new ones in the second half.
