Examiner Hits Streets on Time for Day 2

November 24, 2000|Associated Press

SAN FRANCISCO — The new San Francisco Examiner hit newsstands and doorsteps on time Thursday, after a computer glitch delayed the paper's first edition for several hours a day earlier.

Wednesday's debut edition of the Examiner was plagued with low resolution and uncredited photos, along with stories that ended abruptly in mid-sentence. Those first edition jitters were resolved on the second day of publication.
