Cathedral 20, Oak Park 17--The Eagles (8-3) fell to Cathedral in the quarterfinals for the second consecutive year at Oak Park.

Cathedral (11-0) used a ball-control attack to gain 293 yards rushing and eat up the clock.

Fernando Castro had 144 yards in 22 carries and Nick Alcantar scored twice. Alcantar's second score, a two-yard run, gave the Phantoms a 20-10 lead with 7:38 to play.

Oak Park scored on a six-yard option pass from Brendon Anderson to quarterback Josh Walker to pull within 20-17 with 3:27 remaining.

Eric Testan of Oak Park had 99 yards in 19 carries and scored on an 18-yard run, giving the Eagles a 7-0 lead.

Cathedral scored on a 13-play, 82-yard drive capped by quarterback Tony Colton's one-yard run with 5:13 left in the first quarter to pull within 7-6.

A field goal by Monte McNair early in the fourth quarter cut Oak Park's deficit to 14-10.

The Phantoms took the lead for good on Alcantar's nine-yard run with 5:19 left in the third quarter.
