Community Outreach Meetings

The Los Angeles Unified School District is conducting a series of community meetings to select locations for dozens of schools proposed in its building program.

The plan includes primary centers, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and continuation high schools to accommodate enrollment growth and end busing from overcrowded schools.

Location: Alexandria Avenue Elementary School

Proposed Project: Alexandria Primary Center

Day: Tuesday

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: Bell Community Center

6250 Pine Ave., Bell

Proposed Project: Bell Elementary Schools No. 5 and No. 7, Corona New Primary Center, Bell Area Learning Center (grades 6-12)

Day: Wednesday

Time: 5 p.m.

Location: Weemes Elementary School

1260 W. 36th Place, Los Angeles

Proposed Project: Manual Arts Elementary School No. 3 and Manual Arts Primary Center No. 2

Day: Wednesday

Time: 6:30 p.m.

Location: Cahuenga Elementary School
