November 29, 2000|Cyndia Zwahlen

The Family Business Program at USC will hold a half-day program on financial literacy for family businesses Dec. 6.

The program, from 7:30 a.m. to noon at USC Hoffman Hall, will cover the methods, benefits and bottom-line results of teaching business and financial literacy to family members and employees involved in a family business.

The panel discussion will feature Karen Berman, founder of the Business Literacy Institute in west Los Angeles, and will include panel members from two family businesses.

The event, one of nine the USC Family Business Program holds in Los Angeles each year, is free for first-time attendees. Membership in the USC Family Business Program, which is $4,000 per year for an unlimited number of family members and employees, is required for attending additional programs. USC will add five Orange County events next year.

The deadline to reserve a spot for next week's program is Friday. For more information, call Annika Sieler at (213) 740-0416.
