* Jenna Ainsworth, a midfielder and forward who helped Westlake win two consecutive Marmonte League titles, has committed to Pepperdine.

Ainsworth is on the Olympic development state team and was all-league last season.

SOFTBALL

* Pitcher Nichole Rawson of Highland High has signed with Marist, a Division I school in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Rawson was a second-team All-Valley selection by The Times last season, when she was 17-7 with a 0.76 earned-run average and batted .321.

MOTOR SPORTS

* Sean Woodside of Saugus and NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Tour car-owner Bob Farmer of Palmdale formally severed their relationship Monday.

FISHING

* Hansen Dam reservoir will be closed to fishing until after a float-tube trout-fishing tournament on Saturday.

The reservoir will be stocked today with 15,000 pounds of trout. The derby will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. A $5 donation is requested for participation.
