Villa Park

October 02, 2000|Renee Moilanen, (714) 966-4674

The city has passed a resolution honoring its volunteer firefighters in their 40th year of service. Since 1960, Villa Park Fire Station No. 23 has been staffed by citizen volunteer firefighters. Members of the force are on call 24 hours a day and attend weekly training sessions. "The volunteers have selflessly given to the county of Orange and the city of Villa Park," the council's resolution states.
