At Last, a Tatin Pan

October 04, 2000|DONNA DEANE

With the arrival of fall, you can't help but think of apples. Le Creuset's new anniversary pan was created especially for tarte tatin recipes. The pan, 10 inches in diameter, is made of porcelain-coated cast iron and can be put directly on the stove top, then moved to the oven to finish cooking. The large flat handles make it easy to lift and turn.

Le Creuset anniversary pan available in red, blue and flame, $110 from Cook N' Stuff in Torrance, (310) 371-2220, and Sur La Table stores.
