Crescenta Valley 24, Burroughs 17--Jason Hogan scored on a three-yard run with 13 seconds left to complete a fourth-quarter comeback for the Falcons at Glendale High.

Crescenta Valley (5-0) drove 45 yards in six plays for the winning touchdown, with Hogan carrying five times for 35 yards and catching one pass for 10 yards. On his scoring run, Hogan broke a tackle in the backfield and bowled over a defender at the goal line.

Hogan finished with 150 yards in 18 carries and had four receptions for 49 yards, including a three-yard touchdown from Hudson Gossard in the first quarter.

Gossard completed 11 of 23 passes for 136 yards with two interceptions.

Burroughs (1-4) took a 17-14 lead on a 30-yard field goal by Mike Perez with 4:25 left in the third quarter. Crescenta Valley tied the score on Brent Clissold's 22-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.

Perez finished with 94 yards rushing in 19 carries, including a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Also for Burroughs, Lorin Salmon passed for 167 yards and Jonathan Overturf had three receptions for 88 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
